Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was bitter and roasty with cocoa powder and floral hops. The flavor was bitter and roasty and more dry than I expected with notes of cocoa and floral hops. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.
