Cask@Akkurat, Stockholm. Slightly hazy brown colour with a small off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, ashes, mild ripe fruits as well as some slight syrup and mild smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is being rather similar with also some slight bitter notes towards the finish.

Draught @ The Bishops Arms (Gustav Adolfs Torg), Gustav Adolfs Torg 49, 211 39, Malmo, Sweden.Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, wood, smoke, ash tray. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, ash tray, smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120617]

Cask at Bishops Arms Avenyn. Pours brown with an off white head. Aroma of nuts, malt, bread and caramel. Same aspects in flavour with a bit of spice and bitterness.

Draught @ BAJT. Pours clear deep reddish brown with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is sweet and malty with caramel, bread, earthy hops, orange zest, toffee, moss, wet grass and hints of prunes. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter with bread, toffee, vanilla, grass, wood, liquorice root, allspice, prunes and quite a lot of tobacco. Mouthfeel is round and thin to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with bread, toffee, earth tobacco and hints of orange zest.

From tank at the brewery 20091014 Fantastic black currant aroma. Dark mahogany. Butterscotch, coffee black. Nice body, this was the best bevarage at the brewery this time, even better then the porters!

Cask @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted mmalty nutty caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

On tap. Clear, warm reddish brown with a tall, dense shaving foam style off-white head. Roasted and lightly smoky malt aroma. Medium body, lightly roasted and lightly sweet malt accents - again with a vague smoky edge. The finish is dry. 260309

Cask at Akkurat. Dark redbrown with a small compact head. Lots of rosted malts, has a little sweetness and finishes bitter. Very smooth mouth feel.
