Draught at Bishops Arms, Järtorget, GöteborgOn March 29, 2009Clear dark red to black color, smallish tan head. Hoppy and fruity taste with some nice caramelly malt. Malty caramel scent with some nice toffee notes. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity aftertaste.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 27 March 2009) Dark brown colour with ruby hints. Creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate and dark rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, chocolate, toffee, wild berries and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Nice and tasty mild.

cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark mahogany colour. Mld butterscotch and coffee up front. Chewy solid body, wonderfolly edgeless Chocolatey with a light soapiness wrapped around a caramelly backbone. Balanced late bitterness. It’s hard to beat a well made cask mild in top shape like this one. Incredibly moreish!

Cask Conditioned at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Beautiful bright brown color; big head. Nice chocolate aroma, caramel. Dry chocolate flavor, a bit of roasted malt at the end; hidden good hopping. Not bad, but the aroma is better than the rest.

Cask at Bishop Arms, Malmø. A deep red beer with a fluffy tan head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes caramel and yeast and a bit of sulphur. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel, sulphur, roasted malt, and yeast, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is a bit thin.

From tap at Brogatan, Malmö. Pours dark brown with a small orange glare and a dense light tan head. Aroma butterish and roasted malt. Distinct roasted and mild acidic note from this in the initial flavour. Vague metallic and butterish touch too. Vague smoke note from the back of the nose. Ends light acidic roasted and medium dry.
