Draught at BBF07. Clear yellow colour. Big stable white head. OK flavourful, slightly sweet, some grain notes. OK, but more like pale lager than pils.

Bottle: Golden coloured, smaller fluffy head; grainy, grassy-bitter nose with a tinge of vegetables; quite dry bitter flavour, light bodied; grassy bitter finish with a grainy touch in the background. Only bitter, not aromatic.......poor!

Bottle picked up at Morrissons, Aylesbury 8th August 2006, and drank this in a field at Cropredy, Fairport Conventions Cropredy Festival Thurs’ 10th and Friday 11th August. Another one of Morrisons’s 99 pence beers that to be fair is very good for the price. Nice malty and hoppy nose and this carried on through to the taste, very uncomplicated easy drinking beer that if I am being critical was it’s downfall as it was a bit one dimensional and safe. You knew from the first taste that this was how it was going to be, but for me sat in a field listening to music it was absolutely fine.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. 4.8%. Pale gold with thin white head. Corn aroma lager. Just nothing in the mouth with citric hint on end. Few, if any hops. Not horrible but just nothing happening.

Test vom 11.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,12,12,11,12,12 - 11,85

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a decent head. Marked hop bite atop a malty base. But not really very different from the same brewery’s "Ureich". 080602

Bottle. Sweet grainy (corn/wheat) aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Creamy malt flavor with a balanced light hops finish. Nice body. A very good German pilsener.
