One of our favourite saisons, St. Mary is brewed with barley and triticale from Deer Creek Malthouse. This batch was hopped with fresh Saphir and Opal and fermented with our 2020 foraged yeast culture. Conditioned with our mixed culture for naturally tiny bubbles.
Notes of funky ripe honeydew melons, wild pear cider, Juicy Fruit gum, apricots, and psychedelic pasta water.

Super turbid even after on its side cellaring and gentle pour. But it's pretty delicious still. Fruity lemony yeast funk.

Bottle, thanks to Brian. Gusher on opening. Pours opaque dirty yellow, fizzy head that dissipates to nothing very quickly to nothing. Aroma is stone fruit, lemon, oak. Flavor is light tart, light funk. Medium body, low carbonation.

Bottle shared at Dadsgiving, thanks to whomever brought this along, 24/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is tarte fruit, mandarin, citric dipped straw, lemon curd, farmy. Taste comprises orange pith, yeast, light brett, citric, straw, barnyard, light touch of the soap suds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy conclusion. Decent enough saison, let down a little by the old soapy enemy.

GABF 2013. Pours a bit hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Brett shines through nicely in the aroma with funky lemon, herbal, cobweb notes. Flavor was pretty refreshing, lightly tart with a fair amount of fruits (tangerine, pineapple, orange). Pretty cool beer.

Bottle 44 of 204 shared at Paul’s tasting. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of yeast, lemon, bready malt and peppercorn. Medium body. The brett character hasn’t really come out yet, but still a nice saison.
