Pours a muddy, copper-brown, with minimal head. Aroma is full of malt, alcohol, and fruit. Flavor has some vanilla, caramel, dark fruit, and some booze, though this is fairly well-hidden. Not overly sweet, this is very drinkable stuff.

I have been looking for this beer for a long time. On tap at the brewery. Dark brown with some red when held up to the light in the dark tap room. Sweet nalt and lots of it. Some fruit, geain, and it is sweet. This is what i think of when I think of scotch ale.

On tap at the brewery pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and toffee supported by dark fruits and raisins. Flavor has toffee and bread with raisins and dates underlying.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy, almost opaque dark amber with a small, off-white head. Sweet, refined caramellish aroma. Very rich malty body, loads of burned caramel here - and not too much more. Warming alcohol finish with just a little but sufficiently balancing hops. 081114
