Bottle shared by Jcwatts at 5K/10K/4K. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of lemon zest, grass, yeast, mild spice and light fruits. Medium body.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 10/20/2011. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium bubble white head that diminishes steadily. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of oak, yeast, malt and fruit. Full-bodied with a ripe fruity character and a subtle whiskey base. Notes of peppery yeast and malt in the background along with some sweet spice. The finish is well-balanced between oak and fruit. Overall a very enjoyable beer.
