Thick, light yellow head, dense, over low carbonated orange beer. C-hops, but also fresh grain and malt (even greenmalt). Very "beery" nose. Taste is malty, bitterness is pure hops, but the typical citrussy, resiny USA flavours remain rather restrained. However, more resiny to even crude bittery aftertaste. Light body, quite slick, certain gristimpression. Another just great light beer by Emelisse. Would seem John is a worthy successor to Kees.
