Bottle to tulip, the appearance was a semi-clear burnt orange color with a small white finger’s worth of foamy head. Left some spotty lace.
The aroma had some sweet tropical fruity sugars, soft sweet citrus to bitter, light pine, subtle dried wood and ended with a little bit of danky sweet onion.
The flavor started sweet and roamed into the danky sweet to light bitter. Spicy and earthy components slide in for balance. Nicely blended aftertaste filling the finish the same way.
The palate was medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, now that’s a West coast styled DIPA! Damn right!

On tap at Belching, North Park, San Diego. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, grapefruit, some pineapple and light malt. The body was almost full and the finish bitter. A nice one.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit and dank. Medium body, dank, tangerine, mango, light resin finish, very nice.

Draft @ Belching Beaver - North Park, San Diego, CA. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish.

Bomber to pint glass. Lemon and orange. Hazy golden-orange with massive chunky white head. Tropical and grapefruit flavor. Moderate low bittering is nice.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Tropiical fruit and grapefruit linger.

On tap at apex. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet meaty nose. The flavor is big dank hops, resin, oranges. Very good. Super smooth.

On tap at Apex, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a very floral and piney hop quality, followed by earthy biscuity malt. Flavour is sweet and piney, with piney hops galore as well as sweet caramel bready malt. Not hugely complex but it works well. Very nice.

22 oz bottle shared by a friend. Mostly clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, slight booze, light pine and floral. Tastes of citrus, caramel, malt, booze, floral. Medium body with a dry and warm finish. Malty mouthfeel. Alcohol is not too well masked.
