Loved this Thanks PinkZambia for sharing. Terrific bourbon barleywine flavors and a smooth soft palatte. Alittle more bite at the end. Probably even better after 6 months in the basement

Burnt brown appearance, Ithink this is the latest batch. 12oz split 2 ways in stemware @ cellar temp. has a caramel burnt malt nose with a touch of whiskey and oak. very sweet, smoke, oak, sweet brown sugar. some shoe polish and rough bitterness at the finish. Good but not mind blowing.

This Barleywine pours an oily medium brown with a minimal off-white head. Complex aroma that is malt forward with dark fruits, caramel, booze. The flavor follows the aroma. Sweet, mildly complex.

This beer is a hazy dark brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of smoked malt, wood and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, oaky bourbon, caramel and citrus. The finish is smoky and boozy with a caramel malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle shared at Intuition during RBWG 2013. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweet malt nose with honey, vanilla and caramel. Big sweet flavor, sugary, boozy, lots of bread, mild oxidation. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, light dry and ripe fruits, sweet bready malts. NIce stuff overall.
