Chris and Alisa brought this one back for me from a trip to New Jersey. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a massively over carbonated dark golden color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry and chalky with notes of Pez and vague citrus. The flavor was bitter and chalky with pepper, Pez and vague fruits. Medium length finish. Light body and massively over carbonated. Meh.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color topped by a moderate Rocky beige head. Caramel malty nose. Dank bittersweet toasted malt flavor. Huge hop bitterness is astringent and out of balance. Lacks complexity. All hops, no substance.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/7/14

Aroma: The nose is clean hops, orange/citrus, some caramel, buttery notes, and resin hints
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a small off-white head and average lace
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose, but with the malts getting more buttery, and a bitter, citrus finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has an okay mouthfeel overall, with a dryish finish
Overall Impression: I wasn't too impressed by this IPA. It isn't a terrible beer or anything, but the flavor just doesn't quite work. I don't really know where to settle on this beer. Maybe I'm even a little too high with this score?

12 oz. bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger, much thanks! Copper color with low carbonation. Aroma is mostly herbs with a light vegetal note.

Flavor is much like the aroma. Light skunky yeast, herbal hops with a very distracting vegetable flavor in the finish. Was the wort boiled long enough and up to temperature? Perhaps more carbonation would help. Yeah this is just off. I would be willing to re- rate if I can make it to the brewery for a draft sample.

A golden IPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt and floral hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, biscuit malt with British hops, oily mouthfeel, not bad. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.
