Traditional throughout Latin America, the guayabera shirt combines style, functionality, form and tradition in its four-pocketed design. We at Cigar City Brewing feel the same reverence and appreciation for the guayabera that we do for the Citra hop varietal, an ingredient that imparts notes of tangerine, lime and berries to this traditional American Pale Ale. The exclusive use of Citra hops in this beer creates a flavor that’s at once unique and recognizable, while its dry, crisp character and moderate alcohol make it as refreshing and functional as a crisp linen guayabera.

12 oz. can, thanks to Ian! Pours a hazy, turbid, orange color, with a medium, rocky, white head. The aroma is orange peel, cloves, crackers, apricot, and light pine. Sweet and citrusy, with a dusty bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, clean palate. Simple, citrusy, and tasty.

Optisch trübes Eigelb, in der Nase fruchtig, im Trunk cremig, fruchtig, Ananas, Mango, hohe Drinkability. Mittig gaaaanz leichte Bitternoten, dann süß, leicht trocken. Sehr komplex für ein Pale Ale und auch sehr lecker!

Can at home picked up from Beer Hawk. A light hazed mid orange coloured pour with lasting white head with large bubbles. Aroma is nice mixed citrus, melon, sweet peach, low bready grains. Flavour is composed of grainy bread, citrus rind, bitter grapefruit, gummy bears. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, frothy carbonation. crisp finish, drinks good.

On tap at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar, shared with Finn. Cloudy golden-orange body. White head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Moderate drying tropical fruity smell. Taste of citrus peels and juicy malts. Dry fruity finish. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Tromsø 04.02.2019).

Can: Slightly hazed, bubbly gold with a white head. Lemon/lime, grapefruit aroma. Taste is fairly bitter grapefruit-peel, lime, grain malt. It packs a lot of juicy citrus and acidity......and a solid peel bittering. Very bright and tasty.
