On tap at Diskoteket, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out a mix of cotton candy, bubblegum and dark fruits. Flavour brings out Belgian yeast, bubblegum, candied sugar, and phenols. Not the most refined beer, but still quite pleasant. Good.

On tap at Una, Bergen. It’s an unclear, brown beer topped by a small, off-white head. Oxidation, nuts, prunes, some raisin and a touch of alcohol in the aroma. There’s a light bitterness in the flavor, it’s semi-sweet, with dried fruits, nuts and caramel, and a faint oxidation touch. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with caramel, dried fruits and some nuts. A bit low on aroma and flavor this one, but sure decent. 140906

A bit unclear amber color with a fine off white head. Nice powerful aroma. Nutty, toffee, plum and raisins. Medium to full body. Tad sweet and a fine balanced bitterness. A bit oily texture and a soft carbonation. Nice smooth flavor with nuts, plum, fruity, bready, toffee and raisins. Nice one.

Draught@HBF2014. Murky ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, mild roasted notes along with some nutty and hoppy notes as well. Flavour is mild chocolate, some sweet malts, caramel, nuts and a bit toasted notes. Longlasting bitterness along with a quite big sweetness in the aftertaste.

Draught @ HBF 14
Aroma is sweet and bready with toasted caramel. Flavour has toasted caramel and toffee candy. Also some sweet bready tones, limppu-like. Sweet and sticky but somehow I seem to like this.
