Inspired by London’s Industrial Revolution when Smog filled the air and the Porter was the beer of the people. An original home brew recipe using 9 different malts including a good chunk of smoked ‘Rauchmaltz’ from Bamberg, Germany. Big flavour hits of molasses, raisins and caramel are cut with the resinous US hop Chinook. Smokey aromas fly, reminiscent of the smoke stacks of industrial London.

quite dark brown, smooth light brown head.clearly smoked malty aroma, also roasted malts and sweet notes. clearly aroma would lead you to believe it was much stronger than 5.4% flavor is smoked malts, charchoal, roasted malts, full flavored and the smoke resembles the smoke you find in schenkerla, only a tad stronger and more charred when it blends with the roasted malts. quite amazing flavor profile for this low ABV.

Can at home. Has a dark brown to black color with wonderful and compact, beige foam. Compact can also describe the aroma that fills the nose with roasted and smoked tones. Here I find smoked elk sausage, campfire, roasted coffee beans, brownies, leather and hints of nougat . The taste has even more roasted tones with burnt logs, ash, very dark chocolate and proper dark roasted coffee. Mouth feel is silky and light, and has a balanced bitterness. A porter with an incredible amount of flavor to keep " only " 5.4% ABV.
