Bottle. Deep dark brown, almost black. Nice brown head. Aroma id coffee, chocolate, burnt grains. Taste is complex coffee, chocolate, slightly fruit in the background with a slightly sweet after taste. Nice.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is cocoa nibs with roast, chocolate, espresso, some chili peppers, and vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is full. Lovely all-round Imperial Stout with the kind of ingredients I particularly enjoy, great stuff.

Bottle from LCB, consumed 4 months past BBE. My first beer from Oklahoma. Pours black with nice tanned head to start but recedes very quickly. Very interesting aroma with coffee, dark malt, vanilla and chilli coming through as advertised - combines nicely and is inviting. Taste of molasses, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, aniseed and a nice chilli heat without being overdone. Its full bodied and sweet but with enough bitterness and chilli heat to balance. Warming and tasty. Its one of those beers that the more you sip the better it gets. Impressive.

Bottle. Pours a thick brown with a little reddish highlighting and very little head. Aromas are coffee, cocoa, leather, smoke, vanilla/cream. Flavor is very sweet... prunes or dark pit fruit or dates... with a bit of peppery heat on the tail end. A lot of vanilla in the middle too. The dark malt smoke and coffee seems to kind of get swallowed up by the semi-cloying sugary stuff... so it's good, but not epic like some other stouts in this genre.

Balance is near perfection, smooth, coffee, hints of vanilla. Little treat. Awesome to be able to find this at our local Brewdog.

Draught@Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Very dark brown colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some peppery and chili tones along with mild vanilla and toffee. Flavour is pretty similar to the aroma, but the alcohol gives a huge burn in the finish.
