Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Aroma has vinous and fruity tang over roasty coffee. Dark and glossy. Thick foamy.tan head. Heavy bitter. Espresso and charcoal. However this is tempered by tangy but sweet berries and vinousness. A creamy streak and booze. Thick. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly (surpisinfly) astringent finish. Bummer.

Сухой, даже непонятно что на вкус, земля какая то сухая с шоколадом черным если бы это была Аленка, какао также, но не зашло.
Revise to 5.0 that’s a damn fine beer.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2019) Reddish brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, burnt rubber, black-currant and a slight acidity. Malty taste with notes of caramel, black-currant, citrus, dried apricots, raisins and a balanced earthy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Complex and really tastye old ale. Excellent beer.

Bottle as "Olde Ale". Pours cloudy dark brown with a small fizzy offwhite head. Aromas of caramel, malt, some licorice, dates, hazelnut, chocolate. Taste is pretty malty up front, slight licorice, hazelnut, dates, caramel, slight alcohol, some banana-like sweetness.

2014 cellared for 5 years at home. Thin creamy tan head left a spotty cover on a dark brown, slowly carbonating body. Malt, demerara red wine, wood & hints of coffee in the aroma. Medium to full bodied, with a very soft feel & a velvety finish. Dark chocolate, wood, dark spirits, brown sugar, malt, port, sherry & red wine tastes with sweet jammy finish. A very complex beer & I'm impressed by the 5 years of aging this bottle.

Mahagoni with not much head. Aroma is raisins, toffee, vanilla, apples, cream, phenols, other dried fruit. Taste is sweet oxidized and dried fruit with bitter dried fruit. A bit too phenolic. Finish is the same raisin type stuff with a bit too much alcohol. Still pretty balanced and nice.
