Bottle (2011) shared late-nite at RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Cheers! Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds tangy lemon, honey, funk. Pretty sour, with notes of leather, lemon, high acidity. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Very sour to finish, with strong acidic lemon. Bracing.

Bottle shared at Levi’s tasting. My first French sour I believe. Very sour. Gritty texture and an orange color. Some yeast and fruit. I like this very much. The palate is unusual and the sourness is great.

Bottle at RBWG 2014. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of light funk notes, barrel and sour light fruits underlying. Flavor is sour through out with a bit of light fruit and a growing acid note that is slightly acetone in the finish.

Bottle - Vintage 2011 - Tart apricot and pitted fruit. Cloudy orange with no head. Tart apricot/barrel with lemon and grass. A little disappointing considering the hype.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #35. Bottle shared at the Friday Night Downtown Inn Bottle Share. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Good head retention. Earthy, funky, musty aroma with some tart citrus. The taste is tart and acidic with notes of cider apples, apricots and a moderate funkiness. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. Very nice.
