Another sterling creation from the Beau’s pro/am series. The nose is of dark, robust coffee with hints of dark berries. Very rich black body with a fluffy tan head. The taste revolves around a nicely roasted coffee base with appropriate malt support, milk, some bitter chocolate and a nice hint of dark berries and dates. The edge of the roasted coffee sustains through the aftertaste, but in balance with the other elements. This is no amateur concoction!

First off, beofore rating inhave to post a disclaimer, im a sucker for highly ramped up coffee beers......ok here we go.
Jet black pour, big, huge mocha head. A blast in the face aroma of dark roasted coffee, soy, sweet cocoa nibs, maple syrup, and a sprinkle of green, pine resins. I cant get mymnose out of the glass. Im in love. Medium. Outh feel, a touch viscous, and a soft carb. The alcohol is well hidden, the finish is medium to high in bitterness. The finihs is intensly roasted, and there is a huge amount of dry roasted coffee grounds in the finish, touches of vanilla and grass linger. This is one of my favorite beaus beers. Along with the winterbrrewed ive had which was alos a coffee infused beer, this is my fav beaus beer. Makes me think they are really profficient in brewing with coffee.

Dark brown. Thin head. Liquorice, tarry notes, dark chocolate- the nose holds quite a bit of appeal for me. Lots of coffee on the palate with dark fruits, alcohol, substantial bitterness... more of a classic impy on the palate. Assertive coffee and bitterness suits me fine.

600 ml bottle. Pours black with a full tan head. Aromas of rich roasted malts, molasses, chicory, and creamy coffee. Flavors follow same though a much stronger black coffee presence. Powdery dry and rich with a little sweetness in the finish. Great stuff

Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Black color. Spicy aroma, coffee; good body strength, highly carbonated, with dark chocolate flavor, some bourbon and some booze.
Quite good.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, caramel, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour brings out robust roasted malt upfront, with light earthiness and some toast. Robust and nicely structured. Excellent.

Bouteill 600ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka laissant une dentelle évasive. Arôme de malt torréfié, café, un peu cendré, végétal. Goût de malt torréfié, chocolat, légère acidité, un peu poivré en fin de bouche. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-faible.
