On tap at Kaapse. Clear, very dark red to black with a thin, creamy, tan to brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee beans, dark chocolate and caramel. Sweetish, roasty-malty taste of coffee beans, caramel, dark chocolate and nougat, followed by long, medium bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, flat. Very nice!

330 ml bottle shared by Geiserich, thanks!
Almost black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits.
Tastes of coffee, liquorice, cocoa powder, wood, dark fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation
Finishes roasty-bitter, dry, with coffee, liquorice, cocoa.
Very nice. Straight, dry, with enjoyable coffee notes. Nothing special overall, but a lovely, classic style example, without any gimmicks.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours almost back murky color with thin totally diminishing light brown head, fair lacing and lots of residue. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and oats. Taste starts with moderate sweet and rich roasted grainy malt, follows by coffee, caramel and mild licorice, mouthfeel is warming, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Silky smooth imperial stout with well hidden ABV...

Bottle @ home. Figured not drinking the regular one after drinking the special version would be weird. Black colour with a medium sized beige head. Smells loads of fresh coffee, moccha, chocolate and vanilla. Superb coffee smell. Tastes roasty, coffee, hint of liquorice, chocolate, hint of vanilla. Mostly coffee in the aftertaste. Really nice! Medium to full body, lasting taste and soft carbo. Highly enjoyable.
