From tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival, Nijmegen. Aroma of gherkin, cucumber, touch of citrus. Flavour is similar. Didn’t get much mint, fortunately. Very refreshing and light drinkable stuff, suitable for a hot summer day. Enjoyable.

Brewskival 2017. Smak och doft av inlagd gurka, dillkrona, korianderfrön, mynta med toner av jäst. Frisk, lagom sötma, lätt kropp, kryddig beska. Annorlunda!

Keg at We Brought Beer, Clapham Junction, 11/08/17. Rich spicy aroma. A hazy Amber. Thin creamy white head. Slight sourness. Umami. The cucumber is evident and, in hindsight, so is the mint. Light bodied. Thin. A little fizz of carbonation. Low key finish. Unusual. However after having been feeling crap all week, and thus not enjoying GBBF as much as I would have liked to, this beer was a refreshing end to the day.

Half at the Raven, Glasgow. Murky gold, not much head. Dry, herby aroma with a dash of citrus. The flavour is that of a fairly easygoing, yeasty, citrusy saison with a touch of mint. As simple as that. And it’s fairly pleasant. Bit lightweight though, both in body and strength. Could go a bit more oomph but it’s fine otherwise.
