22oz bomber. Unfiltered orange brown body. Creamy white head. The wine barrels really complement the bug sugary tones. Full bodied, solid execution with the barrel blending. Really good.

Draft at Woodland Empire. My 100th Woodland rating! You go, boys (and gals)! Barrel aging puts this over the top. Orange golden hazy body with light airy head. wine barrel notes are perfect for the style. Fruity, woody, grapes. Bittersweet finish that fizzled off the tongue. Just damn near perfect.

Bottle at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, yeast, citric rinds, toffee. Taste comprises tangy fruit rinds, citric peel, straw, yeast, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok tripel, drinkable but lacks depth for the ABV.

Wine barrel aging adds a hint of sourness to this, doesn’t detract or take over. Nice tang added to the tripel body for an added dimension.
