Cloudy golden coloured, medium sized white head, canned corn and light yeasty nose. Surprisingly watery, light yeasty, fruity and mild spicy taste with hoppy herbal notes. Touch of anise in strong bitter finish. 5.0%

Cloudy golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, some yeast and spices. Lacks flavour, but yeast and some spices are noticable.

Bottle, 5.2%. OK fruity aroma. Very cloudy chestnut colour with a very nice, creamy and stable head. The flavour is quite malty, a little sour and with a harsh bitterness. But actually in good balance, and nicely thirst-quenching.

Bottled. (5.2% ABV) Unclear, orange, well-carbonating ale with a small, nitro-like off-white head. Nice lacings. Sweet, fruity aroma with some alcohol and spice. The flavor is quite sweet and fruity too, with a surprisingly well-pronounced alcohol taste, and some yeast and spicyness. Drying in the mouth. Lasting finish with bitterness and alcohol. Not bad, but I wonder how this would taste at 8% ABV if the alcohol flavor would increase at a similar rate. I would have guessed it was at 9% if I didn’t read the label first. (060808)

Extremely cloudy nutbrown color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some hop, bit spicy, yeasty. Taste of yeast, caramel malt. De Molen can do better.

Advertised at PINT 25 Festival as 5.2 % ABV Slightly hazy amber, small off-white head. Fresh greenery nose, I would venture some gooseberry. Dry, light bitter taste, a bit spicey, not hoppy. Cookie malts. Quite light and watery. Aftertaste keeps long-malty. Just a bit less than ordinary boring. Nothing wrong, but call it TUIG (=scum)??? I would have looked for something more abrasive, then...
