We are celebrating our 1000th batch with these two beers. They are quite similar, though the color differs. They are both brewed with spices, inspired by 1001 night.

25cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - peachy orange with a nice cream head. Nose - oranges, cinammon & something bready. Then there’s Turkish delight (rose water) and honey. Some sort of baklava thing going on here. Gorgeous. Taste - honey and oranges with a biscuit and clove finish. Palate - rich in body and texture but still with a balanced, elegant finish. Overall - a bit like a barley wine with an extra dimension in there. Stunning nose!

250ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy orange, thin ring of white head, lasting small bubbles. Lots going on in the aroma - orange, clove, cinnamon, rosewater, pistachio nuts, baklava, honey. Taste has more orange, honey, biscuit at the end. Rich, oily mouthfeel. Bitter and light spice finish. Good.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy dark golden with a small head. A lot of spices both in the aroma and taste, mainly ginger and some cinnamon. Also citrus, malt and caramel. Drinkable but a bit thin and unbalanced.

A hazy, orange beer with a weak and white head. The nose is aromatic, strongly spicy and weird. Bitter orange peel, ginger, coriander, also some sweetness and fruits, lemon. Taste is strongly spicy, at least cardamom and coriander, the overally more beer like than aroma, light malts and nice sweetness that is balancing the spicyness. Surprisingly easy to drink with medium bodied and low carbonation. Weird and personal beer where is the the spirit of east spicymarket and 1001 night. After adjust the spices the beer is quite interesting.
