Golden in colour Chiron offers a superb balance of tart hops, juicy malt and tangy fruit while the lingering finish offers a hint of apricots and tangerines before a biscuity malt and hoppy finish.

Baffled how this has slipped the net for so long. Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Minerals. Very light pale malt. Mild floral start to the hops. Very light citrus. Sherbetty lime tang. Light crisp finish. Crisp, clean, fresh and drinkable.

Slightly bubbly golden beer with a sour, grapefruit-y aroma. The flavour is initially quite tangy with a fruity sweetness alongside the hops. There’s some malt in the aftertaste though it’s bordering on being a touch too gassy in the mouth for me. There’s a bit of orange lurking in there too which makes it feel quite fresh.

Bottle, at Patricks. A lightly hazy one, golden in color and with a small white head. The aroma is mostly on the hoppy side, pine cones and citrus peel, some pineapple. There’s not much maltyness in the flavor either, it’s the hops that run the show. Full to medium body, pleasant carbonation. Long piney finish. An easy drinkable and tasteful one, although a tad low on maltyness. 140412
