Golden in colour Chiron offers a superb balance of tart hops, juicy malt and tangy fruit while the lingering finish offers a hint of apricots and tangerines before a biscuity malt and hoppy finish.

bottle from Darts Farm Topsham. Lovely hop aroma, as expected. Malty base supports the intensive hops well. Gossberry and citrus fruit and a touch of lemongrass. Delicious.

First off, enormous thanks to Mario from Dva Tona (cvitko1) for hosting this huge, most generous and quality tasting. Shared with him, 1rice & Soki. Clear golden body with a fine head. The aroma starts off promising immediately, citrus fruits & peach on the creamy malty backbone, light brown sugar notes, quite pleasant. The citric hoppiness owns the taste, with some vague peach kicking in here & there, the maltiness stays back and lets the hop rule, which was definitely a good decision. Medium grapeseed bitterness, vague fishy note at one point. A superb rendition of the style. Not, perhaps, Dark Star APA level. Are the English better at making APAs than Americans? Who knows... but they are definitely capable of making some kickass ones.

Single from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour with an amber hue and not filtered to the max. White foamy head, decent retention and some lacing. Grainy malt with the citrus hops and mild pine needles. Expecting more of a punch from the taste, but no. Good dryness, but not much flavour. Very light hops, malts. More on the fizzy side, like a grapefruit club soda water drink. Maybe they forgot to add flavours to mine. I donโt know. Still decent overall.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Citrus-fruity, slightly exotic hoppy aroma with herbal spots, accompanied by delicately bready (cara-)malt. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Rounded malty base with present fruity and slightly herbal-spicy hops; medium-dry bitter-sweet finish with spicy and mildly fruity hops. Balanced and moreish Ale. 11.VIII.14

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Slightly hazed golden ale with a thin head. Has plenty of hops and tropical fruits in both aroma and taste with the apricot lingering in the palate as its notes suggest.

Bottle from the LCBO, Mostly clear medium amber with a large fluffy white head that lingers. Nose is dominated by citrus and light caramel. Sweet toffee and honey start with a tart fruit middle of lemon and peach and a long medium bitter finish. Light medium mouth with active carbonation. Quite enjoyable.
