Bottle - Buttery caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Pale malt, honey like sweetness, bit of buttery notes and a semi sweet finish.

500ml bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Medium amber coloured with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt and faint hops. Flavour has some caramel with malts and a bitter finish.

Cask @ Bankers Draft, Bedford. Golden brown, clear with not much head but decent lacing. Aroma of honey and wood. Mostly dry in the taste, a bit of bitter herb. Medium dry finish. I like it more over the course of the pint, which is a good sign. Am I warming to Grainstore? Watch this space.

Bronze-amber and bright. Complex malts - rich caramelized sugars, toastiness, and a moreish German country bread quality.

JDW Moon Under Water, Manchester 22 Jan 13. Gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum. God ferskenaroma. Smaken det samme. Syrlig bitter ettersmak som varer lenge. Tørr avslutning.

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; Light copper pour with big tan head, fruity aroma, taste has dried fruit a hint of caramel and a moderate bitter finish.

Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle @ Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Light amber color, small off - white head. Weird aroma of herbs and flowers. Taste malts, herbs, floral, lightly bitter. Average body, medium carbonation.

Bottle shared at Dean’s Winter Shelter Tasting. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, herbs and cheese. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.
