Bottle at 2e Flevo Bierfestival, Almere: Hazy orange colored brew with an nicely bitter taste and hints of some fruitiness. More leaning to the English I.P.A. than to the American ones.

0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk Avondverkoop’, best before October 2015. Clear, amber with a huge, dense, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of honey, grapefruit, pineapple and some pine. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of honey, pine, mango and orange peel, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Unfortunately already quite old, therefore little hops and rather malty, but still quite nice.

Murky gold - amber beer, decent cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, fine carbonation, typically Dutch slightly over carbonated. Caramel malts and a little dry seltzer. Hops?Where are the hops? Airy dry finish. Frothy and dull.

Bottle. Copper orange color. Grassy aroma of citrussy hops. Tastes bitter at first, but then the iron kicks in. Has some biscuit and caramel. Short finish. Too watery and way too less hoppy.

Cloudy medium amber colour, big foamy beige head, sizzles down gradually to thin layer, light lacing. Hoppy aroma, citrus, light fruity notes (apricot, raspberry), bit of basement. Taste medium bittersweet, citrus notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, mild dry bittersweet aftertaste, fruity notes, bit earthy. Overall a nice fresh beer, more IPA than APA.
