This beer is a response to the very bitter beers that are being brewed all around the world at present. In this case, the denomination IPA does not stand for India Pale Ale, but for Incredible, Powerful & Amazing. Instead of mostly American hops, 7 Flemish hops from the Westhoek region have been used. Obviously, the taste is very bitter, but the beer has a “balance” that makes it very drinkable and invites you to have another round.

Bottle from Systembolaget Sweden.
Big, off white head.
Opaque golden color.
Herbal hop aroma.
Huge and a harsh dominating bitterness that isn't matched with the slim body.

33 cl bottle picked up at Systembolaget Vimmerby poured in to a tulip glass. Hazy golden colour with a big, white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, grassy hoppy notes. Spicy, with some orange peel. The taste is bitter. Full body - rather filling. Dry and bitter finish. Definitely bitter, has a hint of candid sugar? Nice.

Bottle at tasting.
Poured almost clear and golden in color.
Belgian hops and yeast adds spiciness, plesant dryness and bitterness. Maybe bit one dimensional.

Rather hazy, golden, with full head at first. Belgian yeast and molasses aroma. Taste of Belgian yeast and raising, distinct bitterness ending.

Pours deep, hazy golden with a dense head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, dried orange peels and meringue. Flavour is Belgian yeast, pine needles and grape fruit. Long, hoppy bitterness. Tastes like a dry-hopped Saison.

Bottle at home. Aroma is light malt, spicy Belgian yeast, fruity and floral notes, orange, some hops. Flavour is mildly sweet with a potent bitter finish. Body is medium. A highly Belgian IPA, yeasty and a bit spicy, mildly hopped, not great but enjoyable,
