Cask at William IV. Golden, slightly cloudy with small white head. Aroma is very fruity. Grapefruit, citrus, mango and bit of bread and a little bit sour dairy. Taste has elements of tropical fruit juice and is slightly oily in the mouth. Very nice beer, must be my favourite Brodies I have ever had. Lovely.

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear, straw colour. Frothy, white head. Nose is all crisp, grassy, and lemony. Hint of peach stone. Taste is light bitter. Clean and light mouthfeel. Finishes all that, with a little sweetness for good measure. Gallonable.

Cask at Howl at the Moon, Hackney on 11 January 2014. Poured a hazy golden colour with a scummy white head. Strong aroma of citrus hop, peach and barley sugar. Grapefruit hops in the initial flavour with some melon and biscuity malt. Finish was bitter rind, hop resin and chewy malt. A bit more of a hop bite for an NZ hop beer.
