Welcome to the world of Cocoa Psycho, a liquid dimension where pure indulgence reigns.
This Imperial Stout borrows from the voluptuary decadence of 18th Century Russia, with its extravagantly smooth blend of crushed coffee beans, cacao nibs and dark malts.
Dig past the infusions of vanilla pods and toasted oak chips and eventually you’ll come face to face with the madness required to make this beer: a kind of depraved logic that would make Rasputin himself proud.
To fully unleash the aromas and bittersweet luxury of this stout we recommend drinking it from a stemmed beer glass before taking a sledgehammer to a Faberge egg.
Malts: Extra Pale, Wheat, Cara, Smoked, Black and Roasted Barley
Hops: Cascade, Fuggles and Goldings

Bottle @ Fox and Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable dark tan head. Clear aroma of malt, coffee and dried fruit, with touches of caramel and chocolate. Bitter flavour of roast and cocoa, with notes of caramel malt, dried fruit and yeast and touches of chocolate. Bitter aftertaste of roast and cocoa. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, almost no head. Intense roasty stouty aroma. Starts very roasty-malty, alcoholic, light smokey touch. Some bacon hints. Finish well balanced, earthy-roasty-malty. Well balanced finish. Nice!
