Dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, Schokolade, Vanille. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, Schokolade, würzig.

Very dark brown with medium beige head. Coffee, roasted malt, light spices, brown sugar, dark chocolate. Medium bodied light roasted bitter aftertaste. Good stuff.

Slightly hazy dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts, light sour touch, some iron. Sweet caramel flavour, roasted malts, brown sugar. Bit metallic finish, roasted malts and brown sugar.

Leicht schokoladiger Antrunk mit steigender trockener Röstigkeit. Vollmundig malzig, starke Karbonisierung, was aber nur zu Beginn etwas stört. Stimmig, rund, leichte Getreidenoten. 10/11/11/12/9/11

Bottle from my 2nd Secret Euro Santa box. Very dark brown color with enormous beige head towering over my glass. Roasted malt, coffee, citrus-floral hops. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits, caramel, nicely hopped with citrus hops. Hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

Bottle, thanks MrHangover, big frothy mocha head, very dark brown colour, aroma of cocoa, dark bread and just hints of charred wood and cola, intense flavour of dark slightly sweet chocolate, some dark bread and maybe hints of coffee and charred wood. very strong and refined bitterness. Highly enjoyable porter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Tom L. Dark amber-brown with a big beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, malt and caramel. Sweetish flavor, caramelly, slightly roasty, with nutty and dark fruits. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Arendsnest. Pours a clear deep amber with a light grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains with Belgian yeast and a bit of light spice. Flavor has sweet dark grains and a bit of Belgian candied sugar with light spice and Belgian yeast in the finish.

Bottle 33 cl at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Sunday, sampled on September 8, 2013.Clear dark reddish brown color, big tan head. Sweet, malty, herbal scent. Sweet, herbal taste. Dry, grainy aftertaste. Dry, grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
