"Zinnebir X-Mas? No, WINTER MESS!

The name has changed, not the recipe! Our winter beer is back, with her caramel and chocolate flavours, the creamy foam, her fruity nuances, and her dry and bitter finish."

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is caramel, toasted brown malt, some spicy yeast, dried fruits with some sugary notes. Medium sweet taste with a surprisingly robust hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Good.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, dandelion syrup and yeast. Pours cloudy brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet caramelly, dried fruity and earthy, following is nutty, herbal and medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Sinful beer…

Mörkbrun och oklar med tjockt skum. Aningen rostad, lite fruktig och väldigt, väldigt humlig. En riktig humlebomb med stor, aromatisk beska som räcker länge. God.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy brown with fine white foam. Aroma is delicate malty. Body is fairly dense, with limited carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, with surely some sweetness too in the back. Final is fairly long and bitter.

Bruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter met iets van drop en gedroogde pruimen. Voor mij te veel bitterheid in combinatie met de droge smaak in de mond.

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a hazy mahogany colour with a thick creamy beige head. Quite a lot of sediment. Nice looking beer with nice lacing. Aroma is of caramel, dry dark fruits, stone fruits, slight roasted malt, spicy, toasty and brown sugar. Taste is quite similar with some added zesty citrus (orange and grapefruit) notes on the palate. Prickly mouthfeel with a big hoppy earthy bitterness and a long spicy dry finish. Light to medium bodied. Quite unique. A nice enough sipper.
