Brilliant white frothy head stayed well on highly carbonated, hazy copper coloured body. Over stewed fruit, sugar, orange & spices aroma. Medium bodied, prickly & very effervescent on the palate. Cloying on the aft. Taste is much as the aroma with spiced orange, Belgian yeast fruity finish of bitter/sweet citrus.

Ambar nebuosa, espuma blanca consistente. Adoma escaso, levadura. En boca gaseosa, miel, acaramelada y levadura belga que aporta predominio ligeramente ácido y lácteo. Poco especial, belgian blonde del montón con un poco más de alcohol.

Tap at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is toffee caramel, sweet malts yeast, some alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth sweet malt, rich sweet fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a sweet lingering finish that lasts forever!

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body, white head. Nice sweet aroma with notes of orange zest, pear, caramel and bread with a touch of spicy phenols. Taste of caramel, peach, orange zest, bread and some spices. Very nice beer.

Amber colored, hazy, strong off white creamy lasting head. Aroma is fruity marmalade, some yeast, spice, touch of cardboard. Taste is medium sweet caramel, candy sugar, honey, marmalade, some spice and yeast, bit of grains, again cardboard notes, bready finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Disappointing one...

*Old rating, best before 25/10/09. Malzig-fruchtiges, tiefes Bier. Etwas erdig, malzig ohne zu süß zu sein, leichte Herbe im Nachgeschmack.

Bottle . Pours hazy and dark blonde , good white head . Smell is yeasty, rather sweet . Taste is sweet ( sugar ) , bit metallic, grainy , sweet undertone . A fruity aspect from the yeast ( intense Banana ! - that is also collaborating with the sweetness in the beer . ) Ok beer . Rather high carbo , but still OK . Mouthfeel is nice , to the thick side for the ABV even .
