Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of metal as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle, 5.9%. Weak bready and grainy aroma, not good, not bad. Clear greyish, dark amber colour. Stable white head. The flavour is rough and grainy, a little sour, and not that pleasant. Slightly maltier than macro lager and not very bitter.

Test vom 10.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,11,11,11,11 - 10,65

Bottle. Fairly spicy caramel nose. Dark amber, creamy cappucino head. Strawberry, caramel, light on the hops. Medium to light body, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Not too exiting.

(screw cap bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweet, toast-malty and bready aroma with caramel. Sweet flavour, light to medium body impression with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Pretty slim, sweet-bitter, malt-accented finish with notes of alcohol and caramel in the aftertaste. Rather mediocre but drinkable Märzen.

Screw-cap bottle: Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head, moderate sweet-malty nose with a tinge of toasted malt and some hoppy edges; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; fruity traces in the toasted malty and moderately bitter finish. Not a bad one........
