F: thin, off-white, not long lasting. C: coppery, light hazy. A: malty, caramel, nutty, mellow fruity, bit chocolate. T: malty, caramel, bit toffee, mellow fruity, decent bitterness, chocolate touch, medium body and carbonation, dry on the palate, not bad, enjoyed, 25cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

Van de tap in De Brouwerij in Vleuten. Inderdaad een wat rode kleur, zou daar niet zo snel een bok uit halen. Niet te zoet, maar mis daardoor toch ook het idee van een bokbier. Aardig.

Tap. Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma is bready, caramel, earthy. Taste is caramel, earthy, bready, black breadcrust. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

Bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is lcht zoet en licht bitter met iets van chokolade en karamel en een heel ver spoor van een fris zuurtje.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerrood bruinig bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en wat caramelachtig.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Feb 2017) Reddish amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of toast, grain and dried apricots. Malty taste with caramel, orange peel, brown sugar and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.
