Red waxed 750mL bottle pours with a clear deep burnt copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a brief plum and date fruitiness and then getting into vague hops and bourbon booze. The taste delivers smooth booze nuanced malts and then plums, dates and a sense of chocolate. Chocolate? Hmmm? To midway a modest level of smooth bourbon and booze bubble to the surface. Nice sipper.
