Crisp, hoppy and spicy; another unique pale ale, but this time crafted from malted Rye and Kentish Bramling Cross hops for a satisfying, long finish. In its fifth consecutive year, this ale just gets more popular every time we wheel it out.

Cask at In De Wildeman. Pours clear light brown with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of light tropical fruits and hops. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask gravity at The Haywain, Bramling. Been looking for this for ages. Clean gold, lasting bubbly white head. I thought perhaps some diacetyl on the aroma. Interesting rye cereal flavour in the mouth. Really quite hoppy on finish. Cracking condition makes up for a lot. Some lemon and lime citrus on finish. Yes, some biscuit/digestive biscuit flavour on finish. Some diacetyl butter. Odd, but interesting and definitely worth trying.
