Gold with a creamy, white head. Coriander overtones. Caramel too, and mildly floral. Mild bitter taste. Pepper and bubblegum at the end. Medium to light-bodied, balanced carbonation. Ok

Bottle at The Pub Brugge. Cloudy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Slightly aromatic pale. I mean compared other drinking 8% abv beer all day this is a delight. Easy drinking. A little perfumed. Good hop. Good in the mouth. Easy drinking as I say. Very quaffable.

I love playgrounds in Belgium!!! Always beer. Would never get beer in a North American playground. Trust me, parents need beer more than regular people!!

14 December 2021. At Het Anker restaurant. Cheers to the lovely Anke!
Clear golden, stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of banana peel, apple, pear, bread crust, cereal, wheat. Taste has sweetish apple & unripe pear, a bit wheaty sour over pale & bready maltiness. Grassy hoppy finish, lingering pale malt & yellow fruit. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. About time I had this one, although it wasn't really worth the delay. Refreshing.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear blonde with a frothy white head. The aroma is soft, bready malts, biscuit, hay, soft estery fruits, pear drops, apple, melon, toasty grains and cereal. The taste is initially crisp and dry, snappy almost, apple, pear, starfruit, greengage, bit of spice, grain, cereal, nuttiness, pretty clean and bread with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Simple, rounded and drinkable. A decent Belgian blonde ale.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een troebel lichtgeel bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een citrus achtige en hoppige geur. De smaak is fruitig, sinaasappel en hopbitter.

Canned. Giveaway from Het Anker brasserie after having lunch there. Thanks. A slightly hazy golden pour with a greenish cast. Off-white, thick head. Aroma is quite intense, but not a lot: coriander, cereal, lemon peel. Fizzy, full-bodied, munchy. Crisp, quite high in the perceived IBUs. Long, nice. Meesa like it.
