This is our Imperial IPA: an extreme IPA made for the love of hops. Its color is orange, right from the first sip you can perceive its tenacity: caramel, balsamic resins, bitter oranges. It’s refreshing and dangerously warming at the same time. It doesn’t matter how it goes, it will always be too late.

Bottle from World Beer Market, served in a snifter. A beautiful clear orange-amber with a big hoppy herbal/fruity bouquet. Medium bodied, syrupy sweet but very nice hoppiness - bitter herbs, citrus and caramel malts. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from the tap on the 11/07/2015 at the Caminha Artbeerfest. Clear deep gold to amber color with lacing white head. Aroma is hoppy, with pine and malty notes. Bitter taste, with presence of intense hops and some caramel. Palate is full bodied with light to medium carbonation. Next one please!

Small yellowish head over veiled deep-orange beer. C-hops, citrussy nose with preserved orangepeel, cakebottom; slightly vinous. Bitter, orangepeel, orangemarmalade, but with serious sweetish (malt) underbuild. Caramel, even syrup-like, orangeconcentrate. Very viscous MF, oily, near chewy. Some alcohol(warmth). Tingling sensation, long lasting flavours, slowly dwindling. Quite good DIPA.

Bottle 0.33 l. Amber with bronze color. Aroma: tropical fruit (passion fruit, mango, pineapple, litchi and citrus), honey, a little pine. Taste: mighty and bitter, malt and fruit, alcoholic. Rude and bad balanced, but I like it.

0.33l bottle. Orange body, no head. Aroma of peach, caramel, citruses and lots of booze. Taste of peach, citruses, caramel, grass and cloves. OK beer, but the alcohol character is a bit too much for me.

Draught at La Fine Mousse, 4/25/15
Deep amber with some light aburn highlights and an off-white head that is medium-sized and recedes to cover. Medium-high clarity.
Ruby red grapefruit and lots of caramel and sweet cream notes in the nose show quite a bit more malt than expected. Thought the 120 would be in here just for color, but it adds lots of sweetness and breadiness. Moderate acidity, some floral notes but mostly just citrics and light pine on the finish. Alcohol well-masked underneath all this maltiness.
Flavor is just too much maltiness. Heavy caramel, doughy bread and not enough bitterness to balance. Plentiful grapefruit, watermelon and orange rind hop notes are flavorful and interesting, but just don’t do enough to combat this malt. Furthermore, they seem a bit faded, as if the keg is a bit older. Medium-full to full bodied. Nicely masking the alcohol and no flaws, but just very fatiguing on account of the massive body.
