This is our Imperial IPA: an extreme IPA made for the love of hops. Its color is orange, right from the first sip you can perceive its tenacity: caramel, balsamic resins, bitter oranges. It’s refreshing and dangerously warming at the same time. It doesn’t matter how it goes, it will always be too late.

0,33L bottle, BB 28.02.2015. Pours amber with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is caramel, floral, and fruity. Taste is very sweet, berries, fruits, mango, pine, and caramel. Finish is fruity pine bitter with some alcohol burn. Overall: nice sweet brew.

Bottle from Mikkeller Beer Shop. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. 260514

On tap @ Borefts 2013. A light blurry almost honey golden one with a small almost transparent bubbly head. Grainy and really piney nose on this. A bit of caramel and syrup I think. Near sticky oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation level is above average and almost creamy. Tastes better than it smells. A nice strong almost concentrated malty flavor backed up by lots of piney hops. Malt drops in a way? Floral. Ends really mouthdrying and that feeling refuses to let go easily. 27.09.2013

Slightly hazy amber color, small steady white head, some lace. Aroma has gooseberry bush and overriped pale fruits. Medium to full-bodied. Quite sweet with fruity sweetness. Gooseberries, pineapple, tropical fruits. Nice mix, but sweetness cuts bitterness.

Bottle from bier-deluxe.de. Unclear dark orange amber color with medium long lasting off-white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity hoppy taste with grapefruit, tangerines, oranges, grapefruit zest, pines, solid malty backbone. Dry long hoppy bitter finish. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Tasty.

Draught @ Luppolo 12, Rome. Pours slightly hazy golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, tropical fruit, melon, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is malty, tropical fruit, peach, melon, little citrus, grapefruit, alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish. 060414

Bottle. Orange-amber, low head. Cloudy. Stone fruits, caramel, grassy hops, some earth. A bit of thinner. Rather sweet and syrupy flavor, peaches and apricots, some berry. A bit of hot alcohol.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pour hazy amber with minimal head. Aroma suggests garlic!! Flavor is sweetish caramel with some harsh hop. Still has a garlic character but not so heavy as the aroma. Finishes pretty bitter. Interesting - and it goes well with ripe cheese.
