Bottle 0,3ltr: Dark brown Dubbel one of the better ones from this brewery, with a load of caramel taste.

This one is made by the new brewer jan Wolfs. Milky buttery toffeearoma and flavor. Bitter, chicory. Espresso coffee. Chocolate. Unusual flavors for an abbey dubbel. Lacks perfection.

Tap. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is toffee, a bit sugary, fudge. Taste is toffee, caramel, a bit burnt. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled.

Fles 30cl thuis. Volle moutige smaak, karamel, hoppig. Droog. Kasteel maar iets minder zoet. (4-2011).

Roodbruin helder bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van aardbei, kersen en karamel met een spoor van hout en port. Aparte maar best goede dubbel.
