Rodenbach FruitAge is a blend of aged ale, young ale and 9% red fruit, which gives it its sweet-sourness and fruity notes. Pure refreshment

8.5 oz. can purchased in St. Pete, FL. Pours a clear mahogany color with a tight khaki head and great retention. Great lacing. Tart cherry/berry aroma. Very sour/tart fruit flavor with a wine-like finish. This is more gose than fruit beer. Doesn't work for me at all. I'm glad it's a small can. Cheap wine, not beer.

F: medium, off-pink, average retention. C: deep red, almost clear against the light. A: light sour sweet red fruits, cherries, elderberries, bit syrupy sweetness, touch of woody. T: cherries, red fruity, bit raspberries, nice balanced between sweet and sour taste, blackcurrant touch, medium body and carbonation, new base line for this brewery and then you can start to taste more sophisticated beers from Rodenbach but as fruit beer not bad, 25cl can from Delhaize Chazal @ Schaerbeek in Brussels. Earlier Rating: 3/4/2016 Total Score: 3.3F: average, pink, not long lasting. C: black red to dark brownish. A: raspberries, cranberries, cherries, light woody, syrupy sweetness. T: cherries, raspberries, cranberries, sweetness balanced with dry sour tones, hint of lactic, woody, light body, good carbonated, good fruity beer.

Strong fruity nose. Clear ruby red colour, fair fizzy pink head, mostly diminishing. Aroma sour cherry, red currant, strawberry. Taste light heavy sweet and light sour, mild tart, morello cherry, red currant, candy sugar. Smooth sweet and sour aftertaste, woody notes, cinnamon notes, light body, sticky texture, average carbonation, fresh and fruity, not artificial at all.

Really nice tart red fruit mainly raspberry plus some perfume aromas. Flavors are like nose sweet tart with little bitter. Great body and finish. Wish it had a bit more kick.

As soon as I saw this half pint can at vintage, I had to try it. It stayed in the garage for a while with the other beers I gathered and every time I saw it, my mouth watered. Now's my chance: My can was labeled fruitage, not rosso, but I wish it was; that name makes me even more excited, like its italian er sumthin. I love rodey, this can only be good. $2 for a half pound. Smells delicious. Looks delicious like sparkling red wine. Wow, first impression is delicious maroon beer, so yummy. Fruity and never artificial. Lovely. Yummy fun. Perfect amount of creamy carbonation. So glad I found this can. I got to slow up, don't want to gulp this fine liquid. Make it last. Make it good, make it of the best brews I've had in quite a while. Certainly at the top of the fruit beer list. Almost as good as the plain rodey, certainly the same vernacular. Man, I am so PO that this is gone, should have bought two.
