Draught@Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Pitch black colour, mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is floral, mild liquorice, rye, some fruits and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, ripe fruits, toffee, mild wooden notes. Balanced, and also some mild coffee in the aftertaste.

Aroma has licorice root, some sticky malty tones and nettles. Flavour is odd with baking stuff, wort, licorice root and sweet syrupy tones. Feels raw.

330 ml. bottle shared with Kraddel @ Rampkrot. Procured @ ABC Beers. Dark brown wood appearance, little bubbles. Nose is murky, lots of umami & soy sauce. Taste is soy sauce, herbal, bitter herbs, sweet, mushrooms,… Lower body, umami soy sauce body. Not really for me & not particularly well executed either.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour, red glimmer, with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma, hints of dark berries and liquorice. Taste is dark malty, fruity, notes of dark berries, slightly dry, a touch of dark chocolate; slightly prickling carbonation.
