Can to snifter.
Appearance: jet black in the pour and also in my glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, sweet cream, some maple in there for the balance then some coffee earthy to semi-sweet contours
Flavor: generates a nice blend of the prior noted aromas, mild aftertaste of the dark chocolate and maple
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, very smooth along my tongue; finishes very smooth with the maple, chocolate and coffee notes
Overall: a very nicely done pastry imperial stout I believe I would come back to.

16oz pours an oily black with some khaki head. Huge maple nose, vanilla too, nutella, 3 Musketeers, some cane sugar or rum. Flavor leads with maple and cane sugar, ice cream, root beer, chocolate soda. Finishes oily, a little hot and looooooong.

750 ml bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1-2 finger dense dark tan head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, maple syrup, molasses, wood, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of licorice, vanilla, raisin, smoke, charcoal, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, maple syrup, molasses, wood, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of licorice, vanilla, raisin, smoke, charcoal, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate roast/char and herbal/piney/spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, maple syrup, molasses, wood, toasted dark bread, vanilla, smoke, charcoal, herbal, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Light dryness from hop/char bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 11.4%. Overall this is a delicious flavored imperial stout. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Not super maple-y, but solid. Feels a bit sweeter and woody than their other stouts. Probably used real maple syrup, instead of flavorings; never feels artificial. Good amounts of hop presence, but not as assertive as the other ones I’ve had. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours black with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts with dark grains, a light smoke and a hint of bitter chocolate. Flavor has lots of roasted malts and dark grains with a bit of smoke and a touch of chocolate.
