Bottle pour at Matt’s. Huge thanks! Awesome to try both a unique Pilsner, and one that hits the ranks so highly. Interesting beer here. Pours a nice golden color with an active fizz head. Waxed pils? Love it. Sweet apple, and grape aroma. Flavor is overpowered by a spiced apple sauce, grape, and pear constant. Little to no indication of a pils for me, apart from a late Pilsner malt linger, but very slight. A late wine note reminder. So unique. Very interesting. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle in PDX. Pours a golden color with a medium white head. A big funky nose, clear key line, tropical. Clear pilner elements, sour fruity bite, vinous, I really get a lot of funky brett in here. Kinda like a funky tart fruit pilsner. But it works! Quite nice.

Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy, thanks! Golden yellow color with a small white head. Nose is lively with lime and the barrel notes. Tastes is lots of the pinot barrel and some lime. A bit of acidity helps, a little more barrel and some tartness. Different, but good.
