Bottle thanks to _angst_! Pours inky black, medium creamy tan head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is anise, chocolate, molasses, sassafras. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, heavy on the molasses and anise for sure. Full body, creamy mouthfeel

Thanks to Kraddel! 330 ml. bottle split by 2 @ Rampkrot tasting. Dark brown / black, big creamy mocha head. Nose is thick sweet mocha chocolate with light soy sauce, touch roasted, hint coffee & an odd plastic-like note. Taste is touch stronger roast upfront, bitter earthly, roasted coffee, heavily roasted malts, lots of coffee & black chocolate leading into a longer sweeter mocha chocolate finish, touch sweet chocolate sauce & ice cream, hint of plastic. Thick & creamy. Just this slight odd plastic note but otherwise lovely mix of coffee, roast with lots of sweet mocha ice cream & chocolate sauce in order to balance it.

330ml bottle at home from trade with Nische, many thanks. BB 07/2018. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells of coffee, malty roast, some ash, some grape notes, light dried fruits. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, malty roast, ash, some peat, bitter chocolate, also some sweetness, also some hops, has some pine notes, light dried fruits, spices. finishes with pines and coffee roast. nice one, not my favorite Imp Porter though. Feels quite heavy for the 8.5%, probably the sugar. the heaviness the sweetness but also the strong roast do not work too well for me.
