Bottled 25cl (BB 12/2007)
Golden apple color, not much head. Strong aroma of overaged bananas. Sugary sweetness with some soutrness and banana flavor. About what you could think this is (banana flavoured sugary drink).

(Bottle 25 cl) Comes as "Chapeau Tropical" at 3% ABV. Another bizarre fruit beer from De Troch, so far the pineapple beer has been the most weird, but this comes a close second. Hazy yellow, not much head. Weak body, sweetish. Banana flavour is present but not overpowering. More soda pop than beer, but not really unpleasant though. 260499

Pale clear, old gold yellow; faint white rim, little carbonation. Nauseating smell of banana-mash, overripe, and yet sweetened with unbelievably cheap syrup of indistinct descent. Taste again overripe banana, honey or honey-covered nuts, as in some Turkish dessert meant for catching wasps. Faint sourness, as if the bananas are fermenting. Slight sharp edge, light bodied. Truly disgusting.

Pale blond color. Banana candies aroma. Too sweet and artificial, easy to drink but not a beer!

The aroma is sweet as a banana that that has turned brown. The beer is an unclear light yellow with no head. The flavor sweet with a powerful banana taste. It doesn't have the sharpness nor metallic notes that lambic usually have. In summary it is a slightly acidic boring lambic. The ingredients reads yeast - in my world, that doesn't make it a lambic. If You want a banana beer try George Wells Bannana Bread Beer instead.

Pale orange colour, slightly hazy. Small head. The first thing you notice when opening the bottle is a HUGE banana aroma. But when it gets in the glass the banana is soon overshadowed by the typical lambic horseblanket/barnyard smell. Drinking it is like drinking two different drinks. As long as the beer is in your mouth all you can feel is an artificial banana-flavour but once you have swallowed it there''s that lambic beer again! A bit sweet though. A very schizophrenic beer!

One of those beers so bad it's not worth the effort to think up a creative way to describe how much it sucks.
