On tap pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate covered peanut butter candy bar. Taste is more of the nice peanut butter chocolate sweetness and a light ash note.

On tap muddy dark brown small tan head. Huge peanut aroma and flavor. Like those old fashioned peanuts at the circus. Some chocolatey malt flavors too. A unfiltered muddy feel

Bomber from Atkinson’s. First thing is a big, peanut-y aroma that snacks you in the face. Nothing special about the pour, normal for he style. Looks oily, and the peanut butter carries over prominently into the taste, enough to mask the porter base flavors. Quite good, actually.

On draught at Brave Horse Tavern. Dark brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of malt, peanut butter and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, peanut butter and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a peanut butter cup aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap at uptown market. Pours a clear brown color with a small white head. A big sweet peanut butter and sugar nose. The flavor is sweet toasted malt, clear peanuts, chocolate, mint. Solid.

From a 650ml bottle on 15/12/2015 (a Christmas gift from my gorgeous wife, opened early). Pours a very dark brown with the barest of heads. The aroma features a strong whiff of peanuts and vanilla. Flavour wise, it’s a sweetie, with heaps of creamy peanut butter, some chocolate, caramel and more vanilla, with a light roasty bitterness at the back. The texture is creamy and the carbonation is modest. This is my first peanut butter flavoured beer and it actually works really well. A lovely dessert like porter.

Draft - Roast peanuts and chocolate. Deep black/brown with a small white head. Lots of nice roast peanuts with a nice chocolate finish. Not too sweet or bitter, very well done.

On tap at Bailey's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of peanut butter, some roasted nuts, and a touch of roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of fresh peanut butter and roast. Medium bodied and well-constructed. Really nice.
