33cl bottle from ABCBeers shared with Kermis. Thin creamy off white head. Clear amber pour. Herbal aftertaste. Very drinkable winter beer.

Deep amber coloured body with hints of light brown and a thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of bitter malt, nuts, earth, toffee and the slightest hint of spices. Medium-bodied; Assertive malts throughout with some cereal and earth noticeable, a bit of caramelised sugars and again, a tiny bit of spice noticeable showing some cinnamon and nutmeg. Aftertaste shows more of the malt and nuts than anything else - some light sweetness and that’s about it. Overall, a pretty standard offering with the maltiness and toffee coming through the most, but the earth and bitterness showing the harshest flavours. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 11-November-2013 for US$3.49, sampled at home in Washington on 23-December-2013.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium tan head. A sweet malty nose with some spices. The flavor is more big dry caramel, toast, some fruity hops, light spices, lemon zest, some toffee. Quite hoppy. Very good. Very drinkable. Lots of flavor.

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a hazy dark copper / amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very light, barely anything there, with just some mild spices - not much else. Flavour is sort of cidery, with apple spices, some winter / Xmas spices, but not much else. Extremely light-bodied, with a very light apple / spicy tone. Not bad, quite uninteresting.
