Classic pale-ale style ’spéciale belge’ taken over from Lamot by (then) Interbrew in the mid-nineties. Locally renowned as "het paardje" (little horse). Creamy, snow white, stable head, colour orange blond to light amber, clear. Nutty malts, dryish with a bit thin mouthfeel in comparison with the other classics in the style, herbal notes (almost a hint of aniseed), otherwise rather one-dimensional. Still quite a good session ale, nonetheless.
